What is Offered
Free Consultation - $0
A free 45-minute consultation to determine if your child has dyslexia by answering several questions.
With observations made in this initial consultation and verbal feedback from the parent, we can determine if your child is a good candidate for tutoring and if Heidi or one of her assistants might be the right teacher for them!
Consultation with Screening Tools - $600
This consultation and screening involves a comprehensive examination of the client’s report cards, previous testing records, and student work. CTOPPS, a nationally normed phonological processing test, will also be administered and scored. Additionally, reading fluency and Barton screening assessments are conducted.
A concise report is then furnished, indicating with a high level of accuracy whether the client exhibits the classic dyslexia profile.
Full Written Report and Consultation - $1200
In addition to the client profile review, a comprehensive 2-hour evaluation is conducted over 2 sessions, utilizing 9 screening tools, including the CTOPPS, to assess whether a client presents the specific weaknesses outlined in the research-based definition of dyslexia, and if so, to what degree.
A detailed 12-15 page written report is furnished following thorough scoring and analysis of the assessment results. Moreover, it offers recommendations for interventions, accommodations, and targeted goals tailored to the individual’s needs.
